Kansas 3 Day Connection Clinic, May 18-20th, 2024
Want to improve your relationship with your horse? Spend 3 days devoted to improving your skills as a horseman and a rider. This clinic will cover ground work, liberty, and riding with a focus on bridleless. Learn how to get your horse responsive off your leg all while developing a better connection with your horse. This is perfect way to hone your skills and further yourself towards your goals. Come ride for 1, 2, or all 3 days.
Clinic Schedule
Fine tune your skills as Matea walks you through the basics of ground work and riding. Even if you are an advanced rider, she presents the basics in a whole new light that will challenge you to grow in your horsemanship skills. Help your horse connect to you and find purpose in what you are asking of your horse.
On the ground, we will work on basics of Liberty skills. You find out the secrets to getting your horse so connected with you that you don’t need a lead rope! We will continue on this theme into the saddle. In the afternoon, we will work on getting your horse light off your leg so that you don’t have to use your reins as much. Don’t worry bridles stay on.
– How to get your horse to operate off your legs (Yep, you won’t have to use those reins as much.)
– Get your horse to follow your suggestion for transitions on the ground and in the saddle
– Build a connection with your horse that gos beyond a lead rope or bridle
– Begin or improve your leads and lead changes (It’s perfect even for beginners.)
As a horse development specialist, Matea Babcock understands horse psychology and can fast track your progress. She has been teaching professionally for the last 10 years. Her experience in the horse industry ranges from training colts and trail riding green horses to developing her skills as a NVRHA certified judge. Whether you are just starting out or need help fine tuning your lead changes, this clinic will challenge and empower you!
Price: $750/rider for 3 days or $250/day
