Coming to you this Spring in Blue Ridge, TX a special Trail Riding Clinic! This 3 in one clinic covers trail riding tips, obstacles, and tons of water crossings! Learn the leadership skills needed to ride out and have fun doing it! We focus on improving our horsemanship skills to get our horse working for us. You will get practical experience riding through creeks, ponds, and up/down hills. This is a great way to improve your relationship with your horse all while having fun with a great group of riders.
 
In this 2 day clinic, you’ll find out how you as the rider can cultivate a strong focus and help your horse with his own emotional fitness on the trail. You will receive riding tips for riding different terrain. There will lots of opportunities to build your horse’s confidence over water crossings. At the end of day 2, we will have a fun obstacle challenge. You won’t want to miss this! Rider spots are limited to 8 riders for this clinic. Be sure to sign up before they fill up.
 
We have a beautiful indoor arena to ride in as well as additional riding through a near by creek. Blue Ridge also offers overnight guest rooms available with access to a kitchen. It’s the perfect way to turn your weekend into a relaxing horse getaway!
 
About your Instructor:
Matea Babcock has trained and helped many trail horses relax into riding out. As a horse development specialist, she understands the horse psychology behind the training that can fast track your progress. She has been teaching professionally for the last 9 years and her experience in the horse industry ranges from colt starting, and trail riding green horses to training gaited horses, and cow horses. She’s ridden in tough country from the Continental Divide in CO to trails in Montana. Using her knowledge and experience, she strives to help you develop the skills and confidence you need to be successful out on the trail with your horse.
 
Price: $500/rider for the weekend or $250/rider/day
 
Early bird discount: Pay before February 11, 2023 and pay $400/rider for the weekend (non-refundable and non-transferable).

Reserving Stalls and RV Hookup’s
Contact Mo to reserve stall and/or RV hook-up or guest room. Deposit required to make a reservation. Alfalfa and shaving available at addition cost. Payments can be made through PayPal or Venmo. Call or text Mo to reserve: (469) 371-5846
 
Stalls: $30/day
 
You are welcome to tie your horse on the mats on the inside of the indoor arena at the South end. Otherwise please contact Mo to reserve a stall for during the day.
