This is the clinic to build your horse’s confidence and have fun! Learn the leadership skills needed to get your horse crossing obstacles relaxed and willingly. We focus on improving our horsemanship skills to get our horse working for you.  In this 2 day clinic, you’ll find out how you as the rider can cultivate a strong focus and help de-spook your horse on all kinds of obstacles. There will lots of opportunities to build your horse’s confidence with water obstacles, teeter-totters, and much more. At the end of day 2, we will have a fun obstacle challenge. You won’t want to miss this! 

 

Matea Babcock has trained and helped many trail horses relax into riding out. As a horse development specialist, she understands the horse psychology behind the training that can fast track your progress. She has been teaching professionally for the last 10 years and her experience in the horse industry ranges from colt starting, and trail riding green horses to training gaited horses, and cow horses. She’s ridden in tough country from the Continental Divide in CO to trails in Montana. Using her knowledge and experience, she strives to help you develop the skills and confidence you need to be successful.

 

Price: $500/rider for the weekend or $250/rider/day

 

Pay before February 1, 2024 and come for $400/rider for the weekend (non-refundable and non-transferable).
